Retaining Plate
A retaining plate is an internal mechanism used for injection molding, to reinforce the mold and secure other internal parts, like bushings and ejector pins. In this project, I created a retaining plate with specified tolerances and specified material. This fully dimensioned piece was built to a 4/5 scale in imperial units. It can be sent to a production company and produced right now given only these specifications.
