Spur Gear Tooth Strength Analysis
In this project, I was able to demonstrate a more complex understanding of mesh analysis to run a detailed Von Mises stress (or equivalent stress) and displacement magnitude analysis on the areas of concern rather than the whole model. This allows me to create more concise results significantly faster.
An essential skill in simulation rendering is the ability to add variance to a mesh so as to optimize certain areas of concern. The spur gears above show an optimization of my mesh analysis between the gear teeth.
