Fatigue Analysis of a Ride-On Suspension

In this project I was able to demonstrate a fatigue analysis for a Ride-on Suspension.  This entailed the application of a force uniformly across the top and a series of solved contours.  Included are the displacement magnitude, the fatigue life, factor of safety, equivalent stress, and a display of the isosurface (seen to the left).  I determined that while this object is adequately secure to use, it still wares at a uniform rate, so when it does fail, there will be no distinguishing signs that separate any one part from the rest.  

The image above displays an isosurface contour.  This means that despite the object bending due to external forces, the material's fatigue damage is consistent throughout.
